While I was home for the holidays at my parents, I saw this tasty looking Paula Deen fudge recipe. I copied it down as fast as I could, and when I got home I tried it out. It was delicious.

Mix together cocoa and sugar, then add syrup and milk. Slowly cook in saucepan over medium-low heat until about 235-240 degrees F). To test, drop a small drop into water; it should form into a soft ball. Remove from heat and add vanilla, butter and pecans. Beat thoroughly with mixer or by hand. Pour into a slightly buttered glass dish. Mixture thickens rapidly, so work quickly.
